I saw someone say that survivors of abuse shouldn’t call the person who abused them “my abuser” because it places importance and ownership onto them a few months ago and it initially really pissed me off which made me realise that they were probably right so does anyone have any other suggestions because ‘the person who abused me’ is longwinded and ‘cunt’ doesn’t get the context across
