We thought we could have a large wedding for 30K, but ended up just over 60K. We spent double what we thought this year! It was the perfect day, but now I have to start from scratch again saving for a house. 😩 The costs are so much more than you think when you factor in service fees, hotel rooms for vendors, one vendor even charged me extra for his time driving a half hour to our event! So not in the contract.
