Because some of us find it difficult to accept that it is legal to kill a baby at 26 weeks (in some states) if it is inside of the womb, but illegal to kill that same baby if it was born a month earlier at 22 weeks. Abortion should be regulated. At a certain point it stops JUST being the woman’s body.

Right stop killing healthy potential babies. It’s that simple.

It shouldn’t be. It’s just a medical procedure like how one gets treated for cancer. But anti-choice people are either uninformed on this topic or they lack empathy. I’ve talked to enough of them to see this. They care more about their beliefs than actual people. That’s what wrong with them. 🤷‍♀️

Because it is complicated. Many on both sides can accept abortion up to 16 weeks even knowing a heartbeat is present at 4-6 weeks. The problem is second and third trimester abortion which is MURDER. A baby can feel pain at 24-26 weeks. When a pregnant mother is mudered the perp is charged with double homicide. Why is it so hard to ban or make late term abortion as an exception only if mother’s health is compromised. Tough issue but could be a bipartisan negotiation IMO
