Depends on where you are coming from and what you consider expensive. To me, the beauty, weather, culture, beaches, food, resorts, shops, local flare, waterfalls, water adventures, history all make it worth it.

There isn’t any destination I’ve been to where I assimilate into the local vibe quicker than Hawaii. Like before leaving the airport. The culture and natural beauty a big part of that.

Visit Okinawa instead. Almost the same but fraction of the cost to stay there.

Have you looked at your Astrocartography? Hawaii prob isn’t on the map for you. I have 3 planets transiting through HI and I’ve never been happier and more fulfilled than when I lived there.
