My last thread reminded me of how many people have never dealt with deliberately cruel, petty + abusive families 😮‍💨 those that have followed me for a long time immediately “understood” what I was saying, whereas those that have never “dealt” with families like this, took issue with me. “Leaving” an abusive family is so hard because “normal” people insist on misunderstanding you, in calling you “spoiled” or “entitled” for not wanting to be abused, or mistreated. Be happy that you don’t relate 🙏🏼
