Idk what is more disappointing here, the people thinking that they’re ruining things by saying this is a poem (partly correct) as if it makes it less profound or impactful, or the people saying he’s just trying to sound “deep” by quoting someone else (totally unaware of the original text-as if he’s repeating this from a buddy). Like ffs. Be educated people. Read books. Surround yourself with people that quote literature and not just spew their own insipid thoughts.
