I write “cash”.

i usually write 0.00 in the tip spot and then hand them cash if i have it on me

Leave it blank or 0.00 signed a server/bartender that always claims tips 😉

If you write cash the manager can ask the server to state the cash amount because receipts are stored for record. (Former server/host) so now I always write $0 and go find my server to tell them “I want you to have this as a gift” If they report that’s on them but technically it’s free.

Just strike it out and leave the cash :)
