Today is my husband’s 7th deathiversary. I awoke to a text from the woman who was supposed to be adopting the cat I’ve been fostering for 3 months and driving him 500 miles to be with her in 5 days with information that made me realize he doesn’t belong there. The day ended with Jimmy Carter’s death. I am done.
