What was the first album you ever spent your own money on and in what form (CD, vinyl, cassette, iTunes etc) and how old were you? I was 12 and I bought Jewel’s “Pieces of You” CD. What a memory. I read that leaflet with lyrics over and over and memorized every song 💗 I started songwriting around that time as well.
