Does anyone else take this drive? Especially the I95 corridor through South Carolina? I'm telling y'all, I feel such a murderous rage by the time I get through there. Without fail there are constant bottlenecks. They really don't have their shit together. Georgia is great...they have 3 lanes, sometimes 4. Only through the Florence area of SC are there 3 lanes, and every thing flows so smooth through there. 2/4

The roads are awful in SC in general, least favorite state to drive through except for the scenery.

I do that route frequently for business and almost always use state roads and US routes now. Only marginally slower and infinitely less stressful.

I 95 in SC has always been horrible. Day or night North or South.

I went to South Carolina to meet my daughters father and omg I take 74/76 to 95 and 95 on the way back was back to back wrecks. My daughter’s dad is coming from Florida himself and he hit traffic coming to South Carolina and going back to Florida. This was before Christmas.

We never use 95 lol I’m in SC and the roads here are the worst and that’s coming from someone who spent 55 years of her life dealing with Jersey Shore traffic in the summer lol. We go out of our way to avoid all the main highways. The route will be longer but you end up making better time lol.

95 is a nightmare from one end to the other, but I honestly feel driving from NC to Maine is worse than NC to Florida, mainly because of DC and New Jersey. And is Connecticut still under construction?

South Carolina needs to widen 95 through their state to three lanes path the volume of traffic passing through. Trouble is that 95 runs primarily through rural areas there. No need to waste taxpayer dollars to expand if it doesn’t benefit their citizens.
