I’ve had ear issues all my life and have become acclimated to them but recently I was diagnosed with Upper Semicircular Canal Dehiscence Syndrome in my right ear. Basically I have a hole between the upper canal that houses the cochlear balance organ and the space that houses my brain. Most of my life I thought hearing my own heartbeat, getting vertigo at high pitch sounds and hearing the muscles of my eyes move was normal… The only “cure” is a type of brain surgery to resurface the hole.

Same here brother. Mine started a few years ago, at 60. It's worst in the evenings and at night. Don't know if that's from fatigue, or things just being quieter in the evening. At any rate, just hate the F out of it.

What's the frequency Kenneth? The ringing in the wee small hours as you try to sleep. Forget a conversation in a group.

Constant screech in my ears. I used to be able to block it out but it recently got worse due to taking antidepressants. Now I’m waiting for an appointment for hearing aids that can help with tinnitus.

💯 For as long as I can remember. I am f’n tired of it… legit exhausted. I almost always need music or tv on to drown it out.

Mine is right ear; it sounds like the whooshing noise from an old sound machine! I ignore but I’m an off/on insomniac! Not good!

Mine in my right ear is quite loud. Thanks to Metallica 96 and their free show in the Spectrum parking lot in Philly. Still the single loudest thing I've ever heard.
