It’s not always men. I think common courtesy means that when there are two or more people walking side by side on a path, sidewalk etc and they see a person or persons coming towards them, they can stop, or go to single file until the people have passed. It’s sad that people don’t make way for others as much these days. But don’t let that stop you from continuing to do so.
