I've decided to leave threads. I've been getting anxiety coming here seeing all the (false) arguments about Catholics, saying we worship Blessed Mother Mary, etc. I thought I'd be ok just letting people know what we believe, but the anxiety is getting to me. I'm also surprised to see swearing here on threads, and I absolutely can't stand it. Hope you're all stronger than me with the anti Catholic threads 😭 CatholicThreads

I was a member of the Catholic Church for 33 years, but left because I felt like it was Jesus Christ Himself telling me to leave. I had to because of that and also even though I personally did not worship Mary, other people did and had alters in their houses (false idols) and I could not be a part of a church where some people or anyone did that. But I wish you would stay on threads, I feel like you will be a good example

Love of God and love of neighbor, there is nothing greater than these.
