I've never understood the appeal of Rolexes...could someone clarify that?

Status. You can't just walk into a Rolex boutique and buy a new watch. Not sure how it's translated into such a sought after item now. Funniest thing is a Tudor is a Rolex with a different name. Way cheaper though.

It’s about status with a Rolex now you have reached a place not many can go. With flying airlines it is the same choice. Not many people willingly choose to fly spirit or frontier

You have to be a watch person to care. It's like people into sports, purses, types of good, cars, books, etc etc etc. If you're not into it, you will never get it, and some people will judge blindly.

My boss bought a used one as a gift for one of his employees. Those damn things are heavy, I mean uncomfortable to wear every day heavy.

They're for losers who can't afford a Patek Phillipe.

It’s a fucking Boomer watch. There are better values and better craftsmanship that can be had for the price of a Rolex.
