What are you using on it? Weiman's works well, and Barkeeper's Friend gets off burnt on crust.

If you don't have gas get yourself an induction range/cooktop it's as fast and more accurate temp control as has and never looks like your picture. You need pans that will attract a magnet but worth every penny

I’d prefer gas, bu to have electric. Stove top and built in oven. We have a new cook too to put in. The salesman was disappointed when I told him I wanted coils not a flas top, for one thing glass tops are more expensive. But everyone I’ve seen is a problem. I was stunned on the last visit to my cousin when I walked into the kitchen and saw her glass top was cracked from corner to corner. And I still like to do some canning. And I won’t buy new pots and pans for an Induction top.

They're notoriously easier to clean. I wish I had induction, gas is bad for your home's air quality.

I'll never have another kind. The myth of gas stoves being superior is long over.

So easy to clean with a razor paint scraper (cheaper than the glass stove cleaner ones they sell, ut does the same thing) from your local hardware store and some soap. It doesn't even need to be stove top glass cleaner.

Put this bad boy in when I moved in. Gas stoves rule!

I keep sandpaper in my kitchen for this. Maybe a 400 or 600 is fine enough, some water, elbow grease and done in no time, for what is worth, on gas ones that same burnt is simply ending at the tray under your range. Agree it's "cleaner", but its just diet you cant see
