I’ve always wondered what’s in that concrete section at the bottom. Just nothing? It’s solid concrete around the elevator shafts? Or are there like windowless rooms in there?

There's an unusual water fountain in the stair well. Nothing special. I'd rather be in the new tower next door during an earthquake.
