Money buys security, shelter, health, experiences, a softer bed, travel, it buys the ability to spend leisure time with friends and family. It buys you time to be creative, to put your energy into doing more fulfilling things that are meaningful to you and your family. It buys peace and yes a certain degree of happiness.

In this capitalist world, money helps you get to some degree of happiness. You can get a more comfortable life with it, and help the ones you love, too. Elon just has money and loves only himself, I think that makes him miserable as a human being- since he only thinks about his own butt.
