Y’all… when Brandon Sanderson even steps in and says to stop gatekeeping fantasy and thinking less of romantasy readers, that’s probably a sign. I’m tired of someone coming into my DM’s whenever I rate a romantasy book highly claiming it was “the worst book they’ve ever read”. I don’t care. It was enjoyable and filled the dark void inside my soul for a few days and that’s literally all I want out of reading sowmtimes.
