A lot of Bears fans think they would have made the playoffs with Jayden Daniels. If we’ve learned anything from the resurrected careers of Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield, it’s that situations matter. Daniels situation is a big reason he’s blossomed. Caleb’s situation is big reason he has not.

Most KNOWLEDGEABLE Bears fans understand that Caleb Williams, while he has his faults, isn’t the reason why the team isn’t in the playoffs. The coaching is/was terrible. The offensive line is worse. And it’s hard to pass when you’re either on your back or constantly behind the sticks due to penalties.

一小時內	Schuyler Wickes scwickes	Yes!! I firmly believe that top-rated rookie quarterbacks need to go to good teams rather than crappy teams, if they are to have any chance of success. Maybe there’s a new rule in the NFL that rookie QBs are not allowed to play their rookie year (almost like a red shirt year) so that they can learn the system from the sideline and adjust to being a pro.
