Gatekeeping sharing knowledge is odd. I have a PhD, so when I see poorly reasoned posts about things I know about I understand the frustration. But, sometimes those we consider experts are unaware or unwilling to update their knowledge or challenge their biases. Indeed, other times someone outside a field can have different way of thinking meaning they bring something valid to the topic. We need to worry less about WHO is saying it, and learn to effectively EVALUATE what they are saying.
