So let me get this straight. He had to get up at 8, go get meat, season the meat, figure out how to grill it then turn around and wash the dishes? And this was for her family stopping by? And apparently she did nothing. If she's not ill and she's in the relationship she should've helped.

All of what he said was justified, but the tell tale sign and what solidified it for him was that response for sure… because a simple “i understand why you feel that way and i really appreciate what you did… I could’ve easily done the dishes” any pleasant response of accountability makes a world of difference
