This might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like LA natives like to make it known when you’re a transplant. It has undertones of “you don’t belong here.” We’re paying rent and contributing to the local economy, too. Hope we can coexist together.

20 小時內	Kay Tee katiebaby4321	As an LA native, I think transplants associate living here with status and have some interesting hot takes. The only place transplants don’t belong is the freeway - yall are terrified and it shows.
一天內	_duze_	LA natives love to welcome newcomers, people who come here to seek their dreams are amazing and we support them all whole heartedly. The problems come when transplants who never go past the 10, only hang out in a couple trendy neighborhoods, and are usually only friends with other transplants try to speak as an authority on what LA is like; and are usually talking trash about it when they do so.
