if u raise all the items by .08 cents that is more then enough to cover the cost of credit card fees. when it comes to food places that is. i don’t reject fee i reject the messaging the business acting like they have no choice but to charge a fee when they are the one selecting to sign up for a merchant account to take credit cards.

Honestly, if anything, you’re convincing me the restaurant should raise prices across the board by 3–4% for all payment methods just to avoid these silly complaints—though, of course, some complain about that too. It’s interesting you mentioned bag fees in your previous post, considering Portland has a $0.05 bag fee.
