Ukrainian TV has been critical of Jimmy Carter's views on Ukraine, while noting he condemned the 2022 invasion: "In 2015, Carter said that Russia's annexation of Crimea was inevitable & voiced hope that Obama would not send weapons to Ukraine to fight the [Donbas rebels]."
