In 2025, I am leaving behind nostalgia. I don’t care for anyone who longs for my old self, someone who hated herself, put herself second, and never communicated how she genuinely felt. I am not interested in what’s behind me, only what’s to come. That means surrounding myself with those who love a Deidre that loves herself, puts herself first, communicates honestly and directly.
