Don’t make the same mistake I did 😭 So, I had this old HDD in HFS+ format and wanted to switch it to APFS. I thought formatting would wipe everything, so I spent the entire day backing up data to other drives. There was so much stuff, I even had to dig out a bunch of USBs. Then, when I finally went to format it, I found out there’s a built-in feature to convert HFS+ to APFS without losing any data. Took less than a minute. A whole day gone because I didn’t know better 😭😭😭 MacOS
