I read something when my baby was tiny that the sizing in babies clothes is “up to blank month“. That made me feel so much more normal in what I was buying and let me plan ahead for what we had in stock at the house.  she has always been over the 90th percentile though.

Mine has been in 6M. He’s two months. Babies come in all shapes, sizes, and lengths. Baby clothes are guessing a “standard” sized baby at whatever age. It’s silly!

This is common but I liked the website size cast which helps predict your child's clothing sizes based on their measurements.
