Restrictions on spousal visas include a minimum earning the British spouse must make to qualify. Don’t forget as you’re all American, you’re still subject to American taxing as well as in the UK if you move there. I’ve also known a few Americans in Europe running into complications in trying to get a bank account because a lot of European banks don’t like to have to deal with people associated with US taxation. Not sure if the British banks are as fussy, but just an extra hurdle to be aware of.
