Damn. You people have a lot of time to do research on things that don’t matter or impact your lives in any way

I study political science and write social commentary comedy. And there’s a symptom of autism that gives you “justice sensitivity”. So that probably has something to do with it too. I think we’re mostly all fighting the same battle, we just get distracted by misinformation and confirmation biases.

Actually the things I do research on DO impact all of us. I research adultification bias, child development, how childhood trauma affects our development, what ACEs are, how it affects us and so on and so forth. I research about biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, history, religion. You name it. As long as it has an impact on humans I’m researching it.

If you have enough time to form an opinion on it, you have enough time to research it. wtf kind of rebuttal is this lmao.

My most recent "don't matter" topics have been: Worldwide poverty rate: 1.1 billion currently suffering multidimensional poverty, 54% global under $10/day. Zainichi: Japanese forcing Koreans to do manual labor in the 20s, but not recognizing them as Japanese citizens or giving them equal rights. Very familiar. History of Black Music in the US: Basically white men ripping off black musicians since 1916. YOUR lack of curiosity is a YOU problem.
