The age old question of, "can I ride your horse?" How do you explain to someone that your horse cannot be ridden by a beginner or someone who's never ridden horses. I've noticed it's something a lot of people don't understand about horses.

The number of times people ask if I give riding lessons and I have to explain that in spite of having SIX horses: -two are unstarted coming three year olds -one is a lesson program reject because he invariably lawn darts beginners -one is a retired racehorse who is re-learning how to use his body and I need him to keep the progress he's made -one MIGHT be beginner safe but bucks or lays down when something hurts -etc

5 小時內	Belinda Leather courtleanumnahs	You have to be so careful- your horse is trained and a beginner rider will be nervous which transmits to the horse immediately probably causing the rider to fall off then the horse becomes nervous afterwards. So it’s kinder to be firm and say ‘not today’ than to risk messing up your horse.

If they push it I’ll say something along the lines of would you let someone with no driving license who’s never been behind the wheel drive your brand new BMW? 😜 To be fair though I love plopping people on my lad but I’ve had spicy horses in the past!! Apparently that’s what they assumed when I said “she’s not beginner safe/beginner freindly”

Very few get to ride him, I'm very picky, I dont want anyone who doesnt have a good seat and can't be light with their hands on him.
