Every time I see a "the average rent in america" post, yall seem to forget about the specifics. This average is using CA rent cost, which has a massive influence on that number due to their size. Then it sprinkles in MA, which cost wise is almost equal to that of CA. Point is, this average number is highly inaccurate. FYI average salary in CA is $74k a year.
