There’s an air of ignorance when you shop fast fashion. There is an abundance of knowledge and information showcasing how harmful fast fashion is on a socio, political, economic, and especially environmental scale. Sis, one thing I wish I did when I was younger was save my coin for 1 item that would last me years vs 10 that will last me the week. I wish you can understand this too inshAllah

many of us are also broke, we just thrift, get hand me downs when ppl are culling closets, sew stuff when they break,, and borrow stuff for fancy events and such. I feel like when you're supporting child labor and dangerous conditions with your money, you are bound to get judgment no matter what conveniences they get you. just like those of us (hi!) who still use Amazon at times fully deserve the judgment. I need to get better at putting more serious issues above my own
