As a politician Why is it not illegal to blatantly lie to the public? Creating a lie to gain an advantage surely has to be made illegal and enforced. Some are worse than others but most politicians I’ve encountered are guilty . Give them all 3 months notice and then start fact checking . Any blatantly false statements are then publicly corrected. A three strikes rule then enforced before removal from position . We can’t just continue to accept this as the norm . Truth matters
