I’ll never get why people don’t understand that a rising tide raises all boats.

diversity 👍 equity 💩 inclusion 👍 most other people i know that don't like DEI are fine with diversity and inclusion but arent fans of equity because it supercedes skill, competency, and qualifications and results in lower standards.

DEI is DIEing because it has no place in the workplace. If you want to feel special because of whatever, meet with friends after work or start a fun club to Pat yourselves on the back. But the workplace should consider skill and personality.

Wrong. Just wrong. DEI is choosing a category or quota over qualifications. Period. Anyone who hires anyone based on anything other than pure qualifications is doing themselves, their customers and their employees a HUGE disservice. Earn your place. When I hire I don’t care where you came from, what your background, race, religion, family situation is, creed, or school. I care about your ability to do the job with quality and care. Muslim. Cool. Got 3 kids. Cool. Don’t care. Just need quality.
