Honest to god didn’t eat a burrito until mid-20’s. The places I lived just weren’t super diverse with restaurants, I guess. We had a Chipotle crop up around my senior year of high school but that’s about it.

I live in Colorado. So horse, there were burritos around.  but, I was not exposed to a bagel for a long time after other people were, etc. It is all regional.  She did not grow up anywhere near Mexico.
