Do transphobes still not understand that being “gay” isn’t a bad thing? As a Trans Woman who is dating a straight cis man, we often get comments from ppl calling us “gay,” as if it’s an insult. I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community. The gays are my family. We don’t identify as gay cuz it doesn’t resonate with us & it’s not true to our identities 🤷🏼‍♀️ but there is nothing wrong with being gay. It’s not an insult. So if ur goal is to insult us, that’d be one of the lamest way to go about it. Just saying.
