I have been looking for a reasonably-priced trio in this 1930s hand-painted Royal Doulton pattern, “Valleta,” off and on for decades, and recently found one! The photo doesn’t do it justice at all! Then, I spotted a mint, full tea set for six (with sugar, creamer, and two cake plates) on eBay, and the seller offered me SUCH a great deal on it, it would have been downright foolish not to snap it up, so it’s en route as we speak!
