I hear you on the lonely piece. I’m in the lovely process of seeing clearly for the first time how masked my life has been, and how that explains all these gnarly feelings I’ve had with identity, relationships, down to the clothes I wear etc, my relationship with my family, feeling misunderstood and not heard, etc. it’s been a sobering realization. Ive never thought about how deep the roots of this masking go though—into ourSELVES. I really needed to read it, so thank YOU🙏🏼
