I am 40. I was born and raised in Turkey watching American movies dreaming about living there. I had the chance to move to the USA via the green card lottery at the age of 25. It was cool until I was 30ish. From then on it started feeling like things were going downhill. I no longer want to live in the US after realizing work & life balance, walkable cities, health food options and a good healthcare system matter to me more than anything else. In conclusion, the US needs a new PR person.

Sometimes, it’s not about the entire country but rather the city where you live. I lived in South Carolina and New Jersey, and I didn’t like them. Then I moved to Boston, and I fell in love with it. Determining that a country is bad solely based on the city you live in seems a bit drastic to me 🤷🏻‍♀️
