This is Lola. Rescued 2 days ago. Previous owner wanted her destroyed. Rescued by a neighbour who knew we had not replaced the dog we had to put to sleep in May. Skinny as hell,Totally untrained, and bag of nerves. Will let you know how she develops.

One thing I will say that others won’t: don’t be afraid of having her put to sleep if she doesn’t settle. Dogs are supposed to be our companions and not our burdens and no one would blame you if she doesn’t get herself together. People won’t hear of such things and I get a lot of hate for it but it needs saying.
