Dear @telegraph there is no German wind fiasco. Germany’s wind energy strategy is working very well. Please don’t twist facts. windenergy

Germany is actually exporting electricity most of the time. Mostly to France where the numerous old nuclear power plants keep rotting.

Stupidity. There are two main issues wird the energy costs in germany 1) the conservative government sabotaged the energy transition mid of the last decade, going all in on ruzzian gas (that worked out great). That exploded right into our face, jacking up the prices 2) southern germany conservative state governments sabotaged key electricity grid measures going all in on ruzzian gas, too. Conservatives are trashing billions of Euros, and yet people think the're good in economics 🤦♂️

As a German, I can concur. The ongoing energy transition is a success. Prices are falling, we have only imported 2% electricity this year, mainly wind and hydropower from Denmark and Austria. We never had to rely on it, but did it, because it was cheaper. The expansion of energy routes, storage and connections with the rest of Europe is progressing.

Facts are facts, but the Telegraph has shifted to a right-winged facts-ignoring press.
