I think about that FAs kindness often. I felt so awful in that moment, and totally understood why the man was cross. Other passengers had been giving me sympathetic looks but it must have been annoying for them too. I get that. But if you’ve ever been in that situation as a parent with a small inconsolable child, it is utterly demoralising and that FA was an angel.
