Why haven't democrats done anything about it? They have been in charge for 12 of the last 16 years.

This it’s extremely misleading. 130B of that money is used to pay salaries.

Failing to understand gross profit vs net profit is wild. NOI is closer to $28.7bn Then capital expenditures were $22.6bn And debt principal pmts $2.8bn Doesn’t leave much left (relatively speaking)

You lemming. Thats gross profit. Now take off overheads - including - drumroll - salaries.

Their reported net profit is $15.51B. So for less than half of their net profit they could pay everyone more.

In fairness, gross profit is not the best number to use for this, 90%+ of that 166B was spent on operating expenses, but with that being said that still leaves almost 16B in net profit so I would still 100% be in favor of taxing them the entire 6.2B that they cost us. They run it this way because it's billions of dollars in free money for them courtesy of Uncle Sam, but if it had to come out of their pockets either way I guarantee it'd be immensely cheaper to just pay everyone enough to live.
