Story idea - what if JC did return to Earth, but not to do anything showy. He came back to live a life of service, and proved by a quiet example that love is the way to peace and happiness, even going back to his old job of being a carpenter, with naval and political careers thrown in for good measure. Nah, wouldn't sell, would it?
