Let’s leave all the unrealistic expectations that TX is a Mecca of CHEAP HOUSING and LOW COST OF LIVING in 2025. It’s not.

There’s no cheap metro city for housing anymore these days. The move was Miami to Orlando. Or Tampa to Jacksonville to atlanta and now it’s Texas. I’m predicting Memphis is next LOL.

I'm seeing an influx of posts about Texas being a cheap state to move to. Think again... Some ppl can't even afford rent let alone a mortgage

Thanks to all the clowns that moved here and ruined it for everyone. Makes me sick seeing them bitch about it being 85 degrees in December.

Car insurance rates and electricity bills will eat up the difference you save in lesser rent 😭

It’s the same prices of Cali with the same none renovated house or apartments from 30+ years ago splashed with white paint 🎨 where the dirt starts showing through underneath after six months

Trump is going to fix all of these things. Housing, food, gas, all of it. Each one of you will likely be a millionaire by the time he leaves office.

Yeah, no. They absolutely have people Hoodwinked about that. It is so fucking expensive to live in Texas. People talk about how cheap the rent is, but they don't talk about all the other ancillary costs on top of your rent. They don't talk about $400 car payments and $200 car insurance that you have to maintain because you can't really get around Texas on public transportation in any way shape or form. No one talks about the expenses after the rent. Or the cost of groceries.
