Tw: child abuse I remember learning about a girl whose parents left her in a room with no stimulation and essentially just strapped her to a potty chair until she was discovered at like 11. She didn’t know how to speak and even with a whole team of professionals giving her full time therapy, she never caught up with language, or other developmental areas. Sometimes I feel like I’m just never going to catch up like that.
