How does the Threads algorithm decide what to promote? Like why does a quick post easily get 100 views, While a longer post that took me a lot of time to write gets only 1 view?

Interesting stuff here! Have you guys played around with post frequency? Found any differences between posting every hour vs every 3 for example ?

Sometimes people just have a few seconds to read what you have to say. Others times, they might have more time to read a longer post. Maybe communicate the same message but with a long and short version. Because even me! Sometimes I’m in the mood for a good read and others, “I’m not reading all of that” 😅🤣

Everyone trains the algorithm to serve up what they like to engage with. The algorithm has no idea if you put heart into your post. If it was about Dune in February, it would take off. If it was about DJT in November, same thing. Everyone’s got their bubble, and your post needs to have key words that relate to what the algorithm is serving people.

No clue! And how to follow the train of conversation? Or even avoid missing a thread entirely!

I think it depends on the quality of the post. If some words resonates with what people are looking for/liking/commenting, it spreads. A Short post is easier to digest and gets a better attention.

All social algorithms rely on user engagement. If someone stopped to read or interacted. Sometimes a post will just miss. The first group of eyes it was shown to just didn’t interact with it.
