She gets sworn in and confirms the votes, as required by the Constitution. President Kamala Harris avoids having to go on camera and read the votes certifying that she lost. Love the thought, but I think it would be better to have Liz Cheney since she doesn’t have a position at the moment, and Harris said she would put a republican in place, so it matches. Also, I think the speaker of the house is VP until a new person in put in the position, so would they have to find a new speaker?
