If you got a generator and can afford gas, sure. Otherwise it's not such a happy new year. We overloaded the system with festivities, guests, ACs that aren't normally used and the like. We need to replace/add plants. LUMA is definitely an issue but the reality is these are old plants and old grids that need to be replaced/augmented. Update apparently the failure is due to an underground power line.
