I know babies don’t switch to whole milk till 12 months but Heaven has a cows milk protein allergy so when I do switch her off formula what do I use? Like do I just try whole milk and see if she’s over the allergy or is there a specific kind I need to use?

2 小時內	Jess Nearhood jnearhood96	My daughter is allergic to dairy. Goat milk is similar so she may be allergic to that too depending and it’s harder to find. Lactose free won’t help if she’s allergic to the protein. Only if she’s allergic to the lactose. Other options are soy, almond, or oat milk. Ultimately I settled at oat milk.

If she is allergic to dairy/cmp she should be seeing a board certified allergist to advise you on introducing dairy. That being said children don't need milk so many kids never drink it after stopping formula/breastmilk
